Wednesday the 27th April; that’s when Uncle Mo has his public workout at Churchill Downs. That’s when Sir Todd Pletcher makes a decision, will last year’s 2yo champion embark on his Triple Crown Quest.

Hands will be clutching future pool and ante post tickets, myself included. This master conditioner will not fool around; if he is sound he will go in the Kentucky Derby, if not, his back up Stay Thirsty will step up to the plate.

Competing for the Oaks at Churchill will be the Louisiana Oaks winner, Daisy Devine. I watched her work out at 5.30 am one morning in October and reccomended her to a client, the client declined purchase at a paltry sum.
